How long do feral cats live?

ANSWER

The life of a feral, stray, or abandoned cat is often short, sometimes just 2-3 years. Feral cats often live in vacant lots, dodge cars, eat from trash cans, and deal with extremes in treatment and weather. They face infection, disease, and an endless cycle of pregnancy.
